My Cancer Bracelet Website / Survivor Website / Co Survivor...

Cancer and other health problems run in my family, I know first hand the importance of patient advocacy, research, education.

Designing is what I love to do. Before I had children I designed $1,000,000+ processing plants all over the world. Then after 8 years, I was laid off, right after I came back from maternity leave with my first child. A coincidence? I'll let you decide ;-) A blessing in disguise? YES! I love designing, anything really, homes, landscapes, interiors, jewelry... So, I combined that with something I could do while my children are napping.

History of the Pink Ribbon

The pink ribbon is the symbol for breast cancer awareness invented in 1991 by Evelyn H. Lauder, founder & president of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Alexandra Penney, then-editor of Self Magazine. Lauder says, "The ribbon stands for awareness. And it stands for the sisterhood that will help women survive - and conquer- this disease.

All 14k gold beads are 14kgold filled beads. I only use solid 14k gold beads in necklaces because they are so soft they dent when placed on bracelets. 14k gold toggles and lobster clasps are 14k gold plated or vermeil. I do carry solid 14k gold lobster clasps. Call me if you would like a solid 14k gold lobster clasp. They are $65 each and can be added to any bracelet or necklace.
