Cancer and other health problems run in my family, I know first hand the importance of patient advocacy, research, education.
Designing is what I love to do. Before I had children I designed $1,000,000+ processing plants all over the world. Then after 8 years, I was laid off, right after I came back from maternity leave with my first child. A coincidence? I'll let you decide ;-) A blessing in disguise? YES! I love designing, anything really, homes, landscapes, interiors, jewelry... So, I combined that with something I could do while my new son was napping. With a lot of hard work and perseverance it has turned into more than I ever imagined. Thank YOU! I am very proud of my designs and the quality of my work. If you get a moment, during your busy day, please let me know what you think. missleigha@yahoo.com |
History of the Pink Ribbon
The pink ribbon is the symbol for breast cancer awareness invented in 1991 by Evelyn H. Lauder, founder & president of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Alexandra Penney, then-editor of Self Magazine. Lauder says, "The ribbon stands for awareness. And it stands for the sisterhood that will help women survive - and conquer- this disease.

If you believe you can, you probably can. If you believe you won't, you most assuredly won't. Belief is the ignition switch that gets you off the launching pad.
